How do you tune ukulele? What is the tuning code for the ukulele?
You've got a brand new ukulele in your hand, with the firm will to get started with your music adventure.
But as soon as you've opened the package, you've face one problem: this music instrument is horribly off-tuned. It doesn't remotely sound like in Iz' beautiful sound "Over the rainbow" or like in Van Joyce's Reptide.
How could you easily tune your ukulele?

You've received you new ukulele, hurray! You've unpacked it, and you are so excited to play your first note. You just can't wait to be a ukulele player, at last!
But wait. Your ukulele sounds so out of tune. That's inconvenient!
How could you easily tune it?
Here is a simple, easy way to tune it.
As seen on 13, there are multiple kind of tuner.
To start with, the best is to download a tuner on your phone. The best would be a tuner for ukuleles.
The strings are G, C, E, and A.
Now that you have a tuner and you know the name of the string, now you are ready, right?
Wait, let's have a look at the tuner!
First, if the tuner has a ukulele C, ukulele D and a guitar mode, please select the ukulele C mode.
This mode is to tune a soprano, the concert, the tenor ukulele. It is not for the baritone ukulele (tuned in D). If you are not sure what ukulele you have, you are very likely to have a soprano ukulele, which are the most common.
Sometime, there is no mode at all.
Now, you can play a string. For instance we will start by the G string.
Play it. If it is a note under G4444 (i.e. D444), then you need to tighten it.
It's very likely that the strings are a lot looser to start with, and that you need to tighten the string.
