How to Tune your Ukulele (Beginner-Friendly Guide)

Press or tap the green button "let me device listen to my uku'"

Then, if a pop-up appears, authorize your browser to access the sound.

Then play a string of your ukulele!

1. Tap "Start Microphone" and allow microphone access
2. Pluck one string at a time (G • C • E • A)
3. Turn the peg until the needle sits in the middle

Quick help

• If the needle jumps, pluck gently and let the note ring.
• If the sound becomes extremely high, stop — you may be tightening too much.
• Standard ukulele tuning: G C E A.
• Listen for your string
• Aim for the needle to sit in the centre.

Here are the step by step way to tuner your ukulele, whether it's the first time or not.

It's very easy.

1. Click on the green button "Start Microphone".

Your browser (like chrome, edge, safari, firefox) should ask you if the page can access to the microphone. Enable it.

That will help the tuner to be able to hear the sound of your instrument.

2. (optional) Click on the letter from the string you want to tune.

3. Play one string at the time.

4. Turn the matching peg.

Repeat from step 2 to tune the other strings.
